AFTER MIDNIGHT was a weekly 8-hour free-form roots and acoustic music marathon that aired from 1998 through 2006 in Syracuse, New York on WXXE, a low-power FM station. The program was content-driven and thematic but also spontaneously created, with selections chosen in real time rather than following a pre-planned playlist. This is music as literature with the emphasis on storytelling. |
